Nima Shahsavari
Nima Shahsavari has pursued writing since the age of 15 as a means to question structures of power and explore the concepts of freedom. His works, ranging from poetry to analytical essays, are grounded in the philosophy of "Janism" (the intrinsic value of all living beings) and the equality of all sentient entities. Believing in universal access to knowledge, he distributes his writings freely, bypassing commercial cycles. By replacing paper with digital publishing, Shahsavari strives to ensure his words echo as a pulse for redefining life without harming nature.
In the name of the sole freedom of all living beings
I deemed it my duty to ensure such an inscription appeared at the dawn of this treatise. Nima Shahsavari rose to write, inviting minds to liberation. I considered it a dishonor to commercialize my struggle through this path or stain this pure endeavor with material wealth.
With the aid of modern technology, one need not follow the path of the ancients and consume paper for publication. I have never published my writings upon paper—the life of a tree. If you consider yourself an advocate of freedom, you will not commit slaughter against nature.
Hoping for the freedom and liberation of all living beings

Equality, Freedom, Critique of Power
Open-Access Digital Heritage
The architecture of tyranny has always relied on a metaphysical foundation, casting the cosmos as a divine monarchy where absolute obedience is demanded from creation. In Alchemy, this theological model is unmasked as the primal source of all earthly oppression. The creator-servant relationship normalizes subjugation, conditioning human psychology to seek out masters, whether in the halls of political power, religious institutions, or patriarchal domestic spaces. As long as the human mind craves an external savior or an absolute authority, tyranny will perpetually reinvent itself under new ideological guises.
A central target of this critique is the archetype of the alchemists—those religious intellectuals, mystics, and poets who use seductive language to soften the brutal edges of dogma, turning the lead of tyranny into the false gold of spiritual consolation so that the masses endure suffering with passive compliance. Standing beside them are the enforcers of dogma, who meet critical inquiry with violence. Exposing this alliance between sophistry and the sword is essential for breaking the thousand-year slumber of unquestioning obedience.
Furthermore, the work launches a fierce assault on the concept of human supremacy, the foundational illusion that grants humanity a license to exploit the natural world and torture sentient life. By extending moral consideration to all living beings, Alchemy proposes a life-centered ethics that shatters traditional moral frameworks. Freedom in this context requires an internal revolution—a departure from sacred illusions and a return to a harmonious existence where no living entity serves as master or slave to another.
History is a continuous cycle of tyranny, revolt, and the reconstitution of new masters. In Alchemy, Nima Shahsavari investigates the theoretical roots of this endless cycle, arguing that political, social, and domestic oppression are merely reflections of a deeper theological malady: the master-slave dynamic embedded within classical religious thought. This provocative collection of essays demonstrates that until humanity dismantles the psychological need for an absolute master, freedom will remain an elusive illusion.
The central premise of the work examines how the creator-servant paradigm creates an authoritarian template that permeates every layer of civilization. When individuals are raised to view themselves as cosmic subjects awaiting divine commands, they readily submit to earthly dictatorships, hierarchical exploitation, and systemic violence. True liberation demands an uncompromising philosophical rebellion against this internal servitude.
A core pillar of this philosophical critique is the absolute demolition of anthropocentrism—the destructive belief that humanity constitutes the apex of existence and that the natural world exists solely for human utility. This arrogance has provided the historical justification for the commodification of nature, the industrial slaughter of animals, and the plunder of ecosystems.
Grounded in the philosophy of Janism, Alchemy elevates traditional human rights into a comprehensive manifesto of sentient and botanical rights. The text asserts that the life of an animal or a plant holds an inviolable dignity equal to that of any human being. By bridging the gap between human oppression and ecological destruction, the work exposes how both forms of violence stem from the same poisoned root of domination.
The essays introduce a striking critique of intellectual complicity through the archetype of the alchemists. These are the apologists, mystics, and reformist thinkers who attempt to refine harsh dogmas into palatable spiritual narratives, turning the crude lead of authoritarianism into the deceptive gold of sacred meaning. They pacify the oppressed, ensuring that the burden of suffering is borne with spiritual resignation. Alongside them operate the enforcers of power, who defend orthodoxy through intimidation and censorship.
Challenging institutional control further, the text ventures into the traditional institution of the family, questioning the absolute authority of parenthood and introducing the radical concept of reproductive accountability. By arguing that bringing a new life into a world of suffering requires profound ethical and material readiness, the book places the absolute rights of the child above parental ownership, severing the intergenerational transmission of dogma and poverty.
Ultimately, Alchemy is an anarchist ethical manifesto. It envisions a world where peace is maintained not through the coercive threat of state law, but through the awakened wisdom of self-governing individuals. The true alchemical process described in these pages is not the medieval transmutation of base metals into gold, but the psychological transformation of an enslaved, master-craving mind into a sovereign, free consciousness.
In strict alignment with its ecological message, the book is published exclusively as an open-source digital text. The author refuses to participate in the destruction of forests for print, proving that a work dedicated to ending suffering and honoring life must not demand the sacrifice of the living botanical world.
