Nima Shahsavari
Nima Shahsavari has pursued writing since the age of 15 as a means to question structures of power and explore the concepts of freedom. His works, ranging from poetry to analytical essays, are grounded in the philosophy of "Janism" (the intrinsic value of all living beings) and the equality of all sentient entities. Believing in universal access to knowledge, he distributes his writings freely, bypassing commercial cycles. By replacing paper with digital publishing, Shahsavari strives to ensure his words echo as a pulse for redefining life without harming nature.
In the name of the sole freedom of all living beings
I deemed it my duty to ensure such an inscription appeared at the dawn of this treatise. Nima Shahsavari rose to write, inviting minds to liberation. I considered it a dishonor to commercialize my struggle through this path or stain this pure endeavor with material wealth.
With the aid of modern technology, one need not follow the path of the ancients and consume paper for publication. I have never published my writings upon paper—the life of a tree. If you consider yourself an advocate of freedom, you will not commit slaughter against nature.
Hoping for the freedom and liberation of all living beings

The historical trajectory of human civilization often swings between two oppressive poles: the tyranny of forced restraint and the dictatorship of commercialized pleasure. In Entropy, this cyclical breakdown is analyzed as a progressive decay of moral consciousness. Traditional systems enforced purity through division, secrecy, and physical suppression, converting the body into a site of permanent guilt. Modernity, while claiming liberation, merely reshapes this subjugation by transforming desires and physical forms into market commodities, substituting spiritual coercion with systemic temptation.
At the core of this breakdown lies the concept of the collective body, an interconnected organism that suffers internal trauma under prolonged structural violence. When society is subjected to continuous repression or artificial exploitation, its internal equilibrium breaks down, resulting in widespread alienation and systemic suffering. Modern power structures exploit this vulnerability, presenting superficial indulgence as genuine freedom while maintaining complete control over the biological and economic dimensions of existence.
The philosophy of Janism offers the necessary foundation to break free from this destructive cycle. True liberation requires refusing both the quietism of ascetic repression and the shallow consumption of modern material culture. By recognizing the intrinsic, non-quantifiable value of every living entity, Janism restores ethics to its rightful place—not as a set of imposed laws or market transactions, but as a natural, effortless expression of existence. Through this paradigm shift, humanity can restore harmony to the collective body, founding a reality defined by mutual empathy and absolute non-harm.
Human history is frequently characterized by transitions between seemingly opposing ideological regimes, yet a deeper structural analysis reveals a shared foundation of control. In Entropy, Nima Shahsavari examines the shift from traditional ascetic tyranny to modern consumerist hedonism. While traditional authority relied upon forced segregation, denial, and physical suppression to maintain order, modern systems operate through hyper-visibility, commercialized gratification, and systemic temptation. Despite their surface-level contradictions, both paradigms reduce conscious life to an instrument of governance, stripping existence of its inherent dignity.
This historical entropy represents a gradual degradation of authentic human agency. When power structures exchange religious enforcement for market mechanisms, the illusion of progress is maintained, yet the underlying subjugation remains intact. The body is continuously pathologized and categorized, serving either as a site of moral transgression under traditional dogma or as a unit of consumption within modern capitalist frameworks.
A central analytical framework within this work is the conceptualization of human society as a singular, interconnected living organism. Prolonged exposure to structural violence and artificial control induces severe distortions within this collective body, manifesting as widespread psychological distress, systemic alienation, and moral paralysis. The modern apparatus of market-driven pleasure does not cure these deep-seated wounds; rather, it acts as an anesthetic, obscuring the root causes of systemic decay while furthering the extraction of value from human relationships.
Furthermore, the text dissects how modern power dynamics construct archetypes of seductive authority. Control is no longer exerted exclusively through solemn institutions, but through ubiquitous markets that standardise intimacy and commodify biological functions. When emotional connections are reduced to transactional exchanges, the capacity for genuine empathy is eroded, leaving individuals isolated within a hyper-connected yet spiritually hollow landscape.
In direct opposition to both traditional repression and modern commodification stands the ethical philosophy of Janism. Reclaiming the intrinsic value of life requires dismantling the artificial hierarchies that dictate worth based on utility, purity, or economic productivity. Janism asserts that every living soul possesses an inviolable right to exist free from harm, exploitation, and institutional coercion. This framework shifts the focus of liberation away from superficial market choices toward a profound, structural respect for all sentient life.
To overcome societal entropy, the collective organism must awaken its innate capacity for self-regulation and balance. This awakening cannot be achieved through reactionary retreats into historical dogmas, nor through uncritical acceptance of technological consumerism. Instead, it demands an active rejection of all systems that treat living beings as commodities, replacing the logic of dominance with an ethics of unconditional non-harm.
The ultimate vision articulated in Entropy is a state of existence where ethical conduct is as natural and continuous as the act of breathing. Freedom is realized when human interactions, physical connections, and shared spaces are liberated from the imperatives of power and profit, allowing relations to be defined by mutual reverence and absolute equality.
Aligning with these core principles, the dissemination of this work adheres strictly to an ethical framework. By foregoing traditional paper printing and releasing the text in a completely free, open-access digital format, the publication process actively protects the natural world and honors the living environment. Entropy serves as an essential philosophical guide for navigating the complexities of contemporary power structures, offering a rigorous blueprint for a world rooted in justice, balance, and universal compassion.
